00-9226-0 EMPI VW Finned Aluminum Full Flow Oil Pump Cover, 3/8″ NPT Female (Resurfaced + Tapped?) with 1/2″ Threaded Hose Fitting
This oil pump cover made by EMPI is made of cast aluminum and comes with a 3/8″ NPT threaded boss for installing a full flow oil filter or cooler system. The cover plate is cut for 8mm case studs and includes the fitting and gasket for installation. This plate fits 1966 (1300cc and up) through 1979 Standard Beetles, 1971 to 1979 Super Beetles, 1963 to 1974 Karmann Ghias, 1963 to 1971 Buses, 1962 to 1973 Type 3s (Squareback, Notchback, and Fastback), and 1973 to 1974 Things.
00-9244-0 EMPI VW Left Side Ports Oil Filter Adapter Plate with Nipple
For customers interested in building a full flow system or just installing a remote filter, this oil filter adapter plate made by EMPI allows you to install a standard spin-on filter and mount it in the location of your choice. Made of cast aluminum, the adapter can be mounted on the motor using EMPI’s exhaust flange mounts (P/N 16-8240/16-8241) or bolted onto the firewall. Adapter has inlet and outlet ports on the left hand side with 3/8″ female NPT threads and comes with a 3/4″ x 16 nipple for the filter. This adapter fits EMPI’s P/N 9230, 9240 and 9250 spin-on oil filters, which can be found in related items below.
