Description

Irwin 6 mm x 1.00 Metric Tap, made of carbon steel, is ideal for routine maintenance, repair work, and for rethreading where high accuracy and tolerance thread is not critical. It has straight flutes that are ground to provide rapid chip removal for efficient threading. It is designed for hand threading work in a variety of materials and produces a Class 2B thread. It is recommended to use a 5.0 mm or #8 drill bit.
